This powerful reading, featuring writings and interviews by queer African American luminaries from the 1950s to the present day, debuted to enthusiastic acclaim at One Institute’s inaugural Circa: Queer Histories Festival in 2023. Join us for an encore performance that captures crucial snapshots of queer culture through eight decades, performed by award-winning artist Paul Outlaw.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the reading will begin at 6:00 p.m. Reception with the artists to follow the performance.
