Marimba mi Guatemala, is formed by marimba players from the Mayan Kanjobal community. It was created in the city of Los Angeles, in 2005, by experienced marimba players from Huehuetenango, Guatemala.

The marimba is considered a musical instrument of historical and cultural value in Guatemala, and its use is widespread throughout the national territory, it is played both in traditional village festivals and family events.

Marimba mi Guatemala, está formada por músicos marimbistas de la comunidad Maya Kanjobal. Se creó en la ciudad de Los Angeles, en el 2005, por experimentados marimbistas originarios del departamento de Huehuetenango, Guatemala.

La marimba es considerada un instrumento musical de valor histórico y cultural en Guatemala, y su uso es extendido en todo el territorio nacional, se toca tanto en las fiestas tradicionales de los pueblos como en los eventos familiares.
